THE FIRST AGE
The First Croak
Before timelines, before feeds, a lone amphibian danced across the young internet. The elders still speak of it. The pond was small then — but the croak echoed everywhere.
Ex Libris · The Pond Eternal
Every frog. Every era. One legendary pond.
$FROGLORE
— as recorded in the Year of the Frog, and every year before it —
Prologue
Frogs have been part of internet culture since the beginning — weird frogs, happy frogs, sad frogs, wizard frogs, space frogs, toads, and countless meme legends. Now they all share one pond.
FROGLORE is a celebration of frog meme history, bringing every generation of frog energy together into one chaotic family.
No single hero. No single species. No single era. Just frogs.
From the ancient memes to the newest creatures on-chain, everyone has a place in the pond. Every frog has a story. Together, they become FROGLORE.
🐸 ALL FROGS. ONE POND.
The Chronicle
Being a true and faithful account of the amphibian dynasties of the internet, compiled from the old scrolls.
THE FIRST AGE
Before timelines, before feeds, a lone amphibian danced across the young internet. The elders still speak of it. The pond was small then — but the croak echoed everywhere.
THE SECOND AGE
Then came the happy ones — wide of grin, pure of heart. They taught the internet to smile before it learned to do much else. Rana felix, the scrolls call them.
THE THIRD AGE
Every pond knows rain. In this age the frogs learned feelings — and so did everyone watching. It was beautiful. It was terrible. It was extremely relatable.
THE FOURTH AGE
Hooded figures by candlelight. Forbidden ribbits. The wizard frogs arrived speaking in riddles and cursed images, and the pond has never been entirely normal since.
THE FIFTH AGE
Broad of back and older than memory, the toads built their own kingdoms beside the pond. Cousins, rivals, royalty — Bufo blood runs deep in the lore.
THE SIXTH AGE
Now the frogs leap through blocks instead of lilypads. Struck into coins, written into ledgers — the lore becomes permanent. This is where you come in.
The Bestiary
Eight specimens, faithfully engraved. No hero among them — every one a legend.
Rana felix
Grins without reason. Reason arrives later. The oldest mood in the pond.
Rana tristis
Feels everything so the rest of us don't have to. A saint, honestly.
Rana arcana
Knows the forbidden ribbit. Will not teach it. Might sell it.
Rana astralis
Left the pond to touch the stars. Sends postcards from orbit.
Bufo rex
Technically a toad. Spiritually a landlord. Respected by all.
Rana pixelata
Rendered in the old resolution. Moves in eight directions only.
Rana clamosa
You have heard it. At 3 a.m., across the water. You know the one.
Rana ignota
Not yet hatched. The pond keeps a lilypad warm for whoever comes next.
❦ and room in the pond for every frog yet to come ❦

Beware of false inscriptions. Trust only the mark written here, upon the official scroll.
The Rites of Entry
Conjure a Phantom wallet — the spirit-vessel through which frogs are held. Guard its seed phrase as you would a grimoire.
Fill the vessel with SOL — the water of this particular pond. Any honest exchange will part with some.
Speak the ticker $FROGLORE where coins are traded — and take your place in the lore.
The Law of the Pond
HERE BEGINNETH THE LAW
Let it be known to every frog of every era: the pond keeps one ledger, and the ledger keeps the pond. These clauses bind all who dwell herein —
sworn upon the lilypad, in the presence of all eras at once
The Chorus
The lore is written by everyone who shows up. The pond is loud, unhinged, and extremely welcoming.
